In the context of the Voluntary Commitment of the European PVC industry, VinylPlus, the stabilizer producers, European Stabilizer Producers Association(ESPA), together with the downstream users, committed to substitute lead-based stabilizers in PVC in EU-28 by the end of 2015(Dec. 31,2015). Lead stabilizers are replaced by calcium-based stabilisers, which are used as an alternative.
